Services
Reservoir Engineering
We offer a wide range of reservoir engineering and simulation expertise. We have extensive experience in thermal recovery methods (SAGD, CSS and steam flooding), cold heavy oil production and chemical flooding. We have also worked on conventional waterflood evaluation and optimization projects as well as new tight oil primary and enhanced recovery developments. We provide different levels of services based on client's requirements; from scoping (competitor analysis, data acquisition, core and fluid lab work programing and supervision), to reservoir modeling (building static and dynamic models, history matching and forecasting), defining development scenarios and economic analysis. We also have experience in handling regulatory side of the projects (subsurface directives) including cap rock integrity.
Production Engineering
We offer production engineering advisory services in thermal and primary heavy oil operations. Some examples are pump selection, down hole flow control device selection, and liner design for sand control. We can also advise on well start-up strategies for SAGD and CSS operations to optimize production ramp-up time.
Research and Technology Advisory
With our extensive research background, we offer effective services in evaluation and application of different technologies. Here are some examples of our previous projects:

Our Team
Sara Tehranian, PEng has over 10 years of research and industry experience. She holds BSc and MSc in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, and PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary.
Sara is also a graduate of the Banff Centre's Science Communications Program.
Majid Saeedi, PEng is a reservoir engineer with over 10 years of experience in light and heavy oil operations. He holds BSc in Chemical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, and MSc and PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary. His PhD research was focused on a novel variation of SAGD technology.
